Once the history is in, nothing gets retyped again. Banks, card issuers and brokerages connect read-only through Plaid, after a consent page of Taiga Finance's own, and the login is typed in Plaid's window, never here.

The four finance apps people switch from most, each through an importer that reads the app's own export. Any other bank, card or tool comes in as a Bank CSV through the column-mapping step, and a bank or card statement comes in as a PDF once AI is on.
Two files and three passes. Connect the live accounts, import the balance file so closed accounts and the net worth line exist, then import the transactions file, which maps onto those accounts. A pass previews before it writes anything.
No. An upload builds a preview, and the review step is where accounts, categories and rows are confirmed. A row the ledger already has is skipped and marked as a duplicate, so an edited category or merchant stays as it was.
No. Taiga Finance writes into a spreadsheet you own, on tabs it marks as managed, and never reads from it, so your other tabs and formulas stay as they are. Disconnect stops the writing and leaves the sheet exactly as it is.
Yours, table by table. The ZIP holds each dataset as CSV, and the complete-data file holds every row as JSON. An export mirrors what you are shown, so a partner's separate accounts and private transactions stay out of your files, and a balance-only account appears as a balance and nothing more.
Nothing you entered and nothing with your name on it. The delete runs in one step the moment it is confirmed: every row you own, the stored bank and Google credentials, your email, your name and your sessions. Server logs and backups age out on their own schedule, a de-identified account id remains, and a full erasure is a support request from the account's email address, completed within 30 days.
They stay with the person who stays. A member leaves by deleting their sign-in; joint accounts, and the categories and plan history, transfer to the other member, and the preview shows that split before the delete runs. Separate and balance-only accounts, private transactions and the stored credentials go with the one leaving, nothing can be undone, and no notification is sent.
